PREVIOUS WEBINARS
JUNE 25TH Blessing the Nations in the 21st Century: the Challenge of Identity and Communication for "Sent Ones" in a Globalized World – Dr. Rick Love, Consultant for Christian-Muslim Relationships How do we communicate about the great commission in a google-ized world where private communication so easily becomes public knowledge? How can “sent ones” (also known as apostles, social entrepreneurs or missionaries)find an integrated identity -- in other words, they are "over there" what they are "over here." In this way they serve with integrity in a post 9/11, pluralistic world. Are the traditional models of “missions” outdated and ineffective? Do we need a paradigm shift to contextualize to what God is doing in the world today?

AUGUST 5TH The Implications of the Kingdom – Dr. Derek Morphew What is the kingdom of God? What are the implications of the kingdom for our lives and ministries? Join us as we take the huge biblical theme of the kingdom of God and distill it into the most fundamental ideas; the definition of the kingdom and the implications of the kingdom.
AUGUST 19TH Luke-Acts – Dr. Derek Morphew Luke’s writings occupy one-quarter of the New Testament and take us from the birth of Jesus through his life and ministry, death and resurrection, Pentecost and the birth and mission of the church, to the gospel reaching Rome, the capital of the known world. More significantly, Luke follows the kingdom message of Jesus intentionally and shows its first historic outworking. Join us as we explore some features of the big picture, as told in Luke-Acts.
