Uganda is a landlocked country in East Africa whose diverse landscape encompasses the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains and immense Lake Victoria. Uganda has substantial natural resources, including fertile soils, regular rainfall, small deposits of copper, gold, and other minerals, and recently discovered oil. Agriculture is the most important sector of the economy, employing over two-thirds of the work force.
Aaron Peterson is the senior pastor and planter of The Hub Vineyard Church in Sunland, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. The Hub has been involved in missions with Uganda even before the church was officially planted in 2003. Aaron has been going to Uganda since 2005 and leads the Uganda Partnership. He teaches at the local public high school and pastors the Hub as a working priest (www.workingpriest.com). He is currently working on a doctorate of ministry degree with George Fox Seminary researching unique needs and soul care for bivocational Vineyard pastors around the world.
Please contact Aaron Peterson about upcoming trip details.
