i-61 Ministries Small Group Series

Vineyard Boise’s missional ministry, i-61, focuses on going “upstream” to bring the light of the Kingdom into areas of poverty, injustice, and inequality in the world. i-61 Ministries passionately reminds the greater church of the ministry of Jesus from Isaiah 61.

Now they are offering a brand new FREE training resource that your congregation or partnership churches may be interested in. It’s a 9-week small-group training video series focusing on developing a heart for justice and compassion in your missional life while exploring seven areas of global crisis. The series includes a high-quality 10- to 15-minute weekly web video and downloadable daily personal devotions. This video series takes on many tough topics such as educational inequality, water and hunger issues, spiritual confusion, human injustice, and undeveloped leadership.

Principles in these topical discussions may spark ideas for opportunities for your partnership to reach out at the local-church level in the nation where God has called you to serve.

From i-61:

In i-61 ministries, we want groups and individuals to grow in awareness of the world’s growing crises, deepen in compassionate love that comes from our Creator, and feel empowered and inspired to go and make an impact for the kingdom of God. We believe it is worship to God to love the poor, and we hope to present some holistic and effective ways to do that. Our prayer is that you grow closer to Jesus during these next nine weeks, experiencing Him in spirit and in truth. We as the church are commissioned to be His hands and feet to the “least of these”. May He help us all to do that each day!
